Bub PerrySheet Metal Shop Supervisor |
Value Delivered
By overseeing the fast, efficient production of fabricated mechanical systems components tailored to clients and individual project requirements, Bub enables proper system installation and on-time project delivery. In addition to managing a team of four to six shop technicians and handling materials purchasing, he delegates machine assignments, ensures that duct and fitting data is accurately transferred from design drawings to plasma cutter computers, and supervises component assembly. After confirming that each component has been properly marked and tagged to simplify sheet metal and mechanical systems installation, he schedules timely delivery to the jobsites. Throughout the process, his goal is to provide professionally fabricated building systems that result in high-performance operation and long-term service.
Mechanical Systems & Sheet Metal Fabrication Expertise
Bub has more than 30 years of successful mechanical systems and fabrication experience. After completing his four-year apprenticeship through Sheet Metal Workers International Association Local 218C, he joined R.H. Bishop Mechanical as a journeyman sheet metal fabricator. He then moved to Nogle & Black Mechanical, where, before taking his current post, he held shop foreman and superintendent of sheet metal operations positions.
To maintain his expertise, Bub has supplemented his union training with various in-house safety courses.
The Personal Side
Bub and his wife have two grown children, a son and a daughter, and two grandchildren, a granddaughter and a grandson. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys NASCAR and virtually every other form of vehicle racing.
