Value Delivered
When clients want reliable, productive facilities, and more cost-effective and responsive facilities management, Dave directs the projects that help them meet their goals. A highly experienced, highly skilled project manager, his duties include estimating, critical path scheduling, on-site supervision, subcontractor coordination and project closeout. In addition, to maintain project schedules and ensure adherence to project budgets, he provides the consistent communications and extensive coordination required between the owner, architect and subcontractors. The result is projects executed with consistently high levels of professionalism and technical proficiency.
Expertise
For over 28 years, Dave has managed projects ranging from manufacturing, water/wastewater treatment and high-tech facilities to public schools and other institutional buildings. He started his career as an ironworker superintendent in his family's steel erection business, where he worked on large projects, such as the New Orleans Convention Center and the Alumax recycling plant in Texarkana, TX. After a stint in an expanded superintendent's role overseeing several hundred ironworkers, he moved into project management, where he was responsible for the design and construction of multiple projects. He then took a project manager's post at Felmley-Dickerson, a general contracting firm, where he managed his own projects as well as the work of three other project managers. He joined Nogle & Black in 2006.
Dave holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and is a licensed land surveyor in the state of Missouri.
