Steve and his mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) service team provide the responsive and knowledgeable services that enable clients to operate and manage their buildings effectively in today’s demanding environment. His primary responsibility is to ensure prompt, expert delivery of standard to very large projects for a wide range of commercial, financial, healthcare, retail and other clients. In addition to his management tasks, such as overseeing and scheduling his technical people, he is the department’s direct customer interface. A friendly and attentive listener, he provides experienced and knowledgeable advice that clients have learned to trust.

 

Facilities Management & MEP Service Expertise

With more than 34 years of commercial mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) industry experience, including owning his own business for seven years, Steve has held apprentice, journeyman, foreman, general foreman, project manager, and estimator positions. His extensive facilities management experience combined with his work in the field has helped him develop the communications expertise required for effective client relationships, and for guiding and developing the skills of his technical people. This expertise plays a vital role in helping him consistently deliver projects that meet clients’ most demanding standards.

 

Steve completed his journeyman training through Local 65 of the National Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters.  He also holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial education from Eastern Illinois University.

 

The Personal Side

Steve is married and has three children.  A fishing and boating enthusiast, he owns his own boat.  Steve also enjoys the outdoors and traveling with his family.
